R32 GTR BNR32
On the R32 GTR rear Quarter panel Rust frequently develops on the lower part of the rear fender, especially on the underside of the mudguard and on the right side where the drafter (pressure relief duct) is located.
Replacing the rear fender (rear quarter panel) would be ideal, but this would require removing the quarter glass and rear window, disassembling the interior, and also involve a larger area of painting, resulting in higher costs.
This panel can be used when a complete rear fender replacement isn’t necessary, or when you want to reduce costs compared to a full replacement.
The shape is measured from an actual vehicle using a 3D scanner, the data is digitized, and then molds are used for production. Automotive-grade steel sheets are also used as materials.
This product uses a cut-to-size original panel. Additionally, instead of a butt joint, it features an adhesive tab for easier installation.
By inserting the “adhesive tab” portion into the underside of the original panel, welding becomes easier than butt welding, and it becomes possible to join the panel using panel adhesive, etc.
Also, if the rusted area is small, you can cut out only the necessary part and use it.
